Responsibilities
- Processing Accounts Payable.
- Invoicing, along with online invoicing.
- Purchase Matching.
- Working to ensure the accuracy of the perpetual inventory.
- Preparing various analytical reports using Excel.
- Reconciling accounts in a timely manner.
- Maintaining accurate and timely reporting of activities to various vendors.
- Provide assistance and support to company personnel.
- Working with vendors and customers to resolve inquiries or discrepancies.
- Various other projects as assigned.
- Weekend work will be required during the Summer & Fall busy season, filling in for front desk on a rotating Saturday schedule with other employees.
Skills
- Previous experience in all areas of accounting.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience in working Word and Excel.
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong organization skills.
- Ability to multi-task, and to make adjustments to priorities throughout the day.
- Self-motivated and dependable with little supervision needed.
- Logical and sensible.
- Experience with Famous software also a plus but not mandatory.
- Must have or be able to quickly acquire knowledge of departmental program structure (mission, goals and objectives), department policies and procedures.
- Must have a minimum of two years office/accounting experience.
- Must be able to operate a computer. Must be proficient in Microsoft programs and able to learn other software programs required by the department.
- Must have sound knowledge and ability in business correspondence and an ability to proofread for grammar, spelling and punctuation with a high degree of accuracy.
- Must be able to do basic accounting and mathematical computations with a high degree of accuracy.
- Must be able to get along with a diverse array of people.
- Excellent memory and organizational ability, in order to set priorities, organize workload, handle multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
