-Ensure all Site safety rules, work guidelines/practices, and procedures are followed while performing duties.
-Greet and welcome visitors.
-Answer phone, sort mail, use and maintain computer and other office equipment as needed.
-Prepare paperwork for customer orders with proper Bill of Lading and Safety Data Sheets.
-Communicate with transportation company for coordination of freight.
-Compose and type correspondence, graphics, and presentations.
-Organize and maintain file system. File correspondence and other records to ensure compliance with all guidelines and regulations.
-Make/save copies of correspondence or other printed materials.
-Order and maintain office and other supplies for plant.
-Assist in maintaining raw material and finished goods inventory systems.
-Assist in compiling and entering data for plant manager reports.
-Process Bill of Lading (BOL"s), email shipping documents to customers as required.
-Provide temporary coverage during vacations, i.e., on-call duty.
-Perform other duties as assigned in support of business goals and objectives.
-Requires organizational and planning skills to effectively complete assignments
-Must be dependable, flexible and able to respond on short notice to satisfy requirements of customers
-Requires good interpersonal and communication skills
-The ability to clearly and succinctly communicate with others, both verbally and in written form
-Ability to work independently and as an intricate component of a team environment
-Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
