Job Summary:
Tesone Transport, Inc. is seeking an energetic Controller to join our team. The Controller will play a key role in enhancing operational efficiency by collaborating with operational staff and engaging closely with the owner on a range of financial and operational duties.
Essential Job Functions:
· Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
· Accounting Operations: Oversee the accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, fixed assets, and bank reconciliations.
· Benefits and Insurance: Oversee and coordinate, in collaboration with owner, all benefits and insurance including enrollment, reporting, and renewals.
Qualifications, Education, and Experience:
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, technology-driven, deadline-oriented environment
· Collaborative attitude, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
· Exceptional attention to detail, with strong proofreading and problem-solving skills.
· Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office
· Prior Controller experience in an office environment is preferred; experience in a trucking company or construction is a plus.
