Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation and review of monthly financial statements and reports.
- Support the Controller in managing the monthly close process and preparing financial analysis.
- Enhance and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Assist in the preparation for audits, including gathering necessary documentation and information.
- Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial guidance and support for various projects.
- Monitor and oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a logistics or supply chain environment.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations relevant to the industry.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while managing multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with internal stakeholders.
