About the Role
We are looking for a Director of E-Commerce Revenue who will participate in setting strategy and lead execution of ThermoWorks’ e-commerce initiatives to fuel growth, improve the customer experience across all segments, and achieve our business goals. In addition, the successful candidate will provide thoughtful analysis of market trends, strategies to increase brand awareness, insight on increasing online sales, and ways to improve customer acquisition and retention.
This role will implement strategy and execute tactics through deep expertise in e-commerce revenue growth, digital marketing, and data-driven decision making.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Execute a comprehensive e-commerce strategy aligned with the company goals and objectives
- Create and implement initiatives to increase online sales, improve conversion rates, and drive customer acquisition and retention across all segments
- Oversee Website Development and Optimization: Collaborate with web developers and designers to ensure the e-commerce site is user-friendly, responsive, and optimized for conversions.
- Analyze sales performance metrics and optimize strategies to achieve and/or exceed revenue targets
- Participate in the development and execution of strategic and tactical business plans with members of the cross-functional team supporting the e-commerce strategy
- Manage and enhance the overall customer journey through the website including site navigation, content development, checkout funnel, and promotional campaigns
- Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and increase site traffic
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including commercial sales, consumer sales, and marketing
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, E-Commerce or related field
- Proven success (5 years) in driving e-commerce revenue growth
- Extensive knowledge of e-commerce technology, best practices and sophisticated analysis
- Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to think strategically and execute methodically
