The Town of Mashpee's Department of Natural Resources is seeking a highly skilled Shellfish Cultivation Specialist to join our team.

We are looking for someone who can assist with general and technical work related to aquaculture and propagation of shellfish, protection of the shellfishery, and other related work as required.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Department of Natural Resources with general and technical work relating to aquaculture and propagation of shellfish.
- Protect the shellfishery and perform other related work as required.
- May also assist with Water Quality sampling and monitoring.
Requirements:
- High School Graduate or GED.
- Knowledge of shellfish aquaculture; or any equivalent combination of education, training or experience which demonstrates possession of the required knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to perform the essential functions of the job.
- Knowledge of boating, waterway and shellfish laws, Mashpee Town By-laws.
- Must be a minimum age of eighteen (18).
- Must possess a valid MA driver's license (Class D) and MA Boating Safety Certification.
- Must possess current CPR and First Aid Certifications or obtain upon appointment.
- Must successfully pass a C.O.R.I. background check.
Benefits:
$20.00 per hour.
