What are the responsibilities and job description for the Volunteer Services Coordinator position at UVA Medical Center?
Performs a variety of project coordination activities associated with a specific functional/operational activity of the Medical Center. Develops comprehensive plans for project implementation through maintenance and/or completion. Monitors project progress and provides updates to leadership on project status. Ensures compliance with applicable regulatory accreditation and Medical Center requirements. Provides effective coordination of departmental projects/operations. Identifies and resolves problems. Ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulatory requirements. Develops effective networks and represents the Medical Center. In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned. Position Compensation Range: $20.68 - $32.05 Hourly MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Education and Experience. Experience: 1-2 years’ experience. Licensure: May require a valid Virginia Driver’s License. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Job requires frequently traveling (distance: 1 mile). Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 20 - 50lbs.
