WHAT YOU'LL DO: The Payroll Administrator will oversee the organization's payroll functions, ensuring pay is processed timely, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations for contractors and employees.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Process bi-weekly, multi-state payroll for employees including time management and garnishments

Assists HR team in special projects and performs additional duties as required

Identifies and recommends updates to payroll processing software, systems, and procedures

Facilitates audits by providing records and documentation to auditors

Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage and hour laws, and best practices

Prepares and maintains accurate records and reports of payroll transactions

Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates

Responds to pay-related inquiries from employees and contractors

Audit pay errors or omissions

Collects, verifies, and prepares data for payroll processing in Paycom
-
Process bi-weekly payment runs for contractors including invoice review and reporting
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or equivalent required
-
Two years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping with at least one year of experience in payroll preferred

Knowledge of employment laws and wage and hour regulations

Knowledge of payroll functions including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes

Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Experience in HRIS or Payroll software and reporting required; Paycom experience preferred

FPC or CPP certification preferred

Effectively problem-solve and exercise good judgment, while maintaining discretion

Experience in analyzing payroll data and reporting abilities
-
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and initiative to complete assignments

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
