Position Summary
Responsible for the leadership, supervision and accountability of all Wellbridge team members and operations during the evening and weekend hours Carries out the Wellbridge vision, values and overall strategic planning, clinical management, patient care, budgeting, financial management and quality management. Promotes service standards and creates a patient-focused caring environment while addressing and meeting the individual needs of patients. Fosters an environment of collaboration and respect among team members.
Responsibilities
- Is the primary leader, communicator and facilitator of all Wellbridge operations during the evening and weekend hours
- Works closely with Clinical Leadership, Director of Nursing, RSS Supervisor, Director of Access, Director of Housekeeping and other Wellbridge leadership as needed to assure team member accountability, delivery of high-quality treatment and implementation of best-in-class customer service
- Provides support and interventions to patients in crisis, including but not limited to, preventing patient directed discharges
- Serves as the key communicator and coordinator of communication, both internal and external, during working hours
- Supports the admissions process as needed
- Oversees quality initiatives and all safety matters during working hours
- Maintains understanding of treatment and practices of Wellbridge and reinforces the treatment goals of patients
- Facilitates a safe and constructive therapeutic environment
Supervision and Support
- Models the Wellbridge philosophy of patient-centeredness, empowerment, and cultural proficiency
- Maintains a safe and caring environment for patients that is conducive to positive health teaching, and maintenance, patient, and family expectations of care.
- Recognizes the need for patient care to be delivered in a culturally sensitive manner and models sensitivity to all staff.
- Seeks and engages in supervision from clinical leadership.
Collaboration
- Supports a culture of high quality of care across the organization.
- Manages and promotes strong relationships with peers and other staff
- Provides crisis support to other staff and patients, as needed and in emergency situations.
Planning and Coordination
- Participates in regular leadership and clinical meetings
- Works closely with the clinical, nursing and RSS teams to coordinate services to patients.
- Makes recommendations for growth and development of organization
Experience and Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Previous experience and a thorough knowledge of substance use treatment and recovery
- Two years (2) of full-time satisfactory experience in a behavioral health care or medical facility.
- BLS, required Certification must be obtained within 2 months of employment.
- 12 hours of Introductory Training in Addictions to be completed within one (1) year of employment.
- Familiarity with all relevant healthcare standards: OASAS, ASAM, JOINT COMMISION
- Demonstrated communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills, particularly in stressful situations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Leadership and supervisory experience in a behavioral health setting
- Master’s degree in social work or related treatment field
- Proficiency with electronic records
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with therapeutic groups (preferably addiction-oriented), therapeutic communities, and inpatient care
- Experience working as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Work schedule of 40 hours per week; Sunday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Saturday, 12 hours on weekend days, 3pm to 12a on weekdays

Pay: $74,000.00 - $82,000.00 per year
