Health and Security Coordinator
SCHROON LAKE, NY
Description
Word of Life is looking for a ministry-minded, spiritually-oriented individual to lead the Health and Security Department. The Health and Security Coordinator will serve the New York ministry locations by coordinating the day-to-day operations of the Health and Security Department. This includes serving our staff, students, campers, and visitors by providing a safe environment for our constituency to experience and grow in their faith.
Requirements
- Personal testimony of faith in Jesus Christ
- Agreement with Word of Life’s vision, mission, Statement of Faith and Standard of Conduct
- Excellent people and communication skills
- Characterized by integrity and a sense of confidentiality
- Leadership and management ability, a boundary spanner
- Experience in the medical and/or security field (Military, Law Enforcement, and/or EMS experience preferred)
- Graduate of the Word of Life Bible Institute
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
- Current EMT Certification
- NYS Pistol Permit and NYS Armed Guard License
- Clean criminal background record, a clean driving record, and insurance clearance to drive WOL vehicles
- Ability to act clearly and decisively in emergency situations
- Ability to work flexible hours and live on the campus of the Word of Life Bible Institute
- Ability to be on call in case of emergencies
Salary : $51,900 - $65,700
