Are you a creative communicator with a passion for public relations and social media? YEAA is seeking a Public Relations & Social Media Associate to join our team full-time!
Location: Fully in-office, with travel required; weekend remote work during critical company schedules
Starting Wage: $18-$22 per hour overtime during specific seasonal months
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Develop, write, and edit a wide range of communications materials, including blog posts, newsletters, social media content, press releases, and website copy.
- Digital and Social Media Management: Manage YEAA’s social media accounts, including content planning, posting, and engagement. Monitor trends and analytics to optimize performance.
- Visual Content Production: Create engaging visual content using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Photography and Videography: Capture high-quality photographs and videos at events, ensuring proper lighting and composition.
- Event Support: Assist in planning and executing events, webinars, and other promotional activities, including coordinating logistics and developing promotional materials.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in PR, social media management, or a related role.
- Proficiency in social media management tools and platforms.
- Experience with graphic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience with Hootsuite
- Experience with Handshake
- Experience in Web Design with WIX
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Willingness to travel as needed and work remotely during critical company schedules.
