Youth Consultation Service (YCS) is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Service Coordinator to join our team!

YCS is dedicated to providing life changing services to infants, toddlers, and families in need of support. Our goal is to ensure every child has the tools and services needed for a brighter future.
Responsibilities:
- Assist families in identifying, accessing, and receiving developmental services for their children
- Facilitate the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) using the Routines-Based Model, ensuring that each plan meets the child's needs and family goals.
- Coordinate early intervention services and connect families with necessary developmental, educational, and social resources.
- Conduct follow-ups to ensure services are being delivered in a timely and effective manner, addressing any concerns or adjustments.
- Provide families with information about their rights, procedural safeguards, and available resources.
- Facilitate the transition process to preschool or other appropriate services for children nearing the age of three.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Family Studies, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.
- 1 year of documented professional experience working with children and families in counseling, supporting or case management.
- 1 year of documented professional experience preferably with individuals birth to five years of age and their families.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish or English/Arabic (preferred).
- Infant Mental Health Endorsed (IMH-E), or willingness to pursue (preferred).
- Strong computer skills proficient in Excel, Word, SharePoint, and Outlook
- Knowledge of early intervention services and family-centered practices.
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with families, service providers, and community partners.
- Leadership skills and a strong sense of empathy and compassion.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to travel within Passaic County to meet with families and attend meetings.
