Accounting Manager

Our client is a Japanese is a startup company in Singapore, currently they are looking Accounting Manager.

Working Location: CBD area

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As an Accounting Manager, you will oversee the financial operations of the Singapore entity.

You will be responsible for leading a team and ensuring compliance with financial reporting, tax, and international accounting standards.

• Financial Accounting and Reporting: Managing full set of accounts, bank reconciliation, preparation of financial statements, performance analysis
• Tax and Compliance: GST/VAT, corporate tax related matters, tax laws and accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS compliance)
• Payroll and Budget Control: Payroll processing, payment administration, budgeting/forecasting support, cash flow monitoring.
• Global Pooling: Process transactions related to global accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Ensure accurate reporting and compliance with internal financial policies.
• Team Management: Lead and manage a team (currently 2 subordinates), liaise with other departments.
• Other ad-hoc duties

JOB REQUIREMENTS

＜Required requirements＞

• Professional qualifications (e.g. ACCA, CPA, or equivalent)
• 3 years of accounting/finance lead experience in accounting, audit, and tax in Singapore
• 5 years of full set account experience
• Experience using accounting software (e.g. SAP B1, SAP S/4 HANA, QuickBooks, Xero, or MYOB)
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (e.g. pivot tables, VLOOKUP and functions)
• Strong understanding of accounting principles (e.g. GAAP or IFRS)
• Highly communicative team player with good problem-solving skills
• Attentive, attentive, and able to meet deadlines

• Experience managing global pooling operations
• Regional (IFRS) financial reporting experience

Additional Details

• Expected salary: Around S$7,000 (depending on experience) VB (depending on performance)
• Working hours: 9:00am-18:00pm (Mon-Fri)
• Working style: Work from home possible for about 2 days a week
• AL: 14 days to a maximum of 21 days
• Other: Insurance provided
