Responsibilities
Quantity measurement of the following trades:
Structural works Piping works Electrical and instrumentation works Mechanical and equipment works Painting works
Reconcile MTO with the client
Monitoring changes on-site with production teams. It could be identified in the followings:
Design drawing changes Site instruction from Client Job Confirmation Sheet from client Identification of Changes (IOC) from Production Team Confirmation of Verbal Instruction (COVI) from Production Team
Compiling change proposal register
Preparation & submission of change proposal to Client for approval
Reconcile with Client on the change proposals submitted
Any other ad-hoc duties being assigned by Superior.
The requirements for this role are:
Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably within the shipbuilding or maritime industry.
Strong knowledge of contract law, cost control, and financial management.
Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., MS Office, cost management software).
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
