Compliance Officer (Risk Management)

Job Description

• Governance & Risk Management

1. Work closely with the Compliance Manager to provide oversight over the Organization’s adherence to legislative and regulatory standards;
2. Keep abreast of regulatory and legislative changes and provide updates on regulatory changes and/or legislative requirements to management & employees;
3. Conduct process reviews with the Organization to assess effectiveness of internal controls.

• Data Protection

1. Provide guidance and support to the Data Protection committees within the Organization;
2. Evaluate, implement and monitor personal data protection compliance policies, procedures, controls and/or remediation measures.

• Education & Awareness

1. Foster a data protection culture amongst employees and communicate personal data protection policies to stakeholders;
2. Administer and conduct compliance training to employees, and other educational events/ activities to raise awareness on risks, data protection and compliance.

• Ad-hoc Duties

1. Support any other ad-hoc matters as assigned by supervisor and management.
