Job duties

1. Market Research & Analysis

Conduct research on market trends, competitors, and industry developments.

Analyze customer needs, preferences, and behaviors to identify opportunities.

Collect and analyze data to provide actionable insights for business strategies.

2. Lead Generation & Prospecting

Identify potential business opportunities.

Support the trader in identifying and qualifying new prospects.

3. Client Relationship Management

Establish and maintain relationships with key clients, partners.

Regularly communicate with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.

Participate in meetings, conferences, and negotiations with clients and partners.

4. Trade Support

Provide necessary information and analysis to help the trader effectively pitch products or services.

Prepare sales presentations, proposals, and other materials required for business development.

5. Performance Tracking & Reporting

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and business development progress.

Prepare reports on business development activities, sales performance, and market trends for management.

Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of strategies and suggesting improvements.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with other departments (e.g. finance, and legal) to ensure smooth execution of business development initiatives.

Ensure effective communication and collaboration between different teams within the organization.

7. Leadership Support

Support Director in strategic decision-making processes.

Participate in internal meetings and contribute to the development of business plans and strategies
