Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Corporate Outside Sales Manager to lead our sales team of six to ten dedicated salespeople. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans, managing customer relationships, and achieving sales targets. The Sales Manager will play a crucial role in expanding our market presence and driving revenue growth. The job requires 70% travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company goals.
- Lead and manage a team of six to ten salespeople, providing guidance and support to achieve individual and team targets.
- Identify new business opportunities and build strong relationships with key customers in the composite industry.
- Conduct market research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential clients.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
- Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the composite or related industry.
- Strong understanding of composite materials and applications.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a sales team of six to ten staff members.
- Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Proficient in using CRM software and MS Office applications.
- Willingness to travel as needed - 70% of the time.
