Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Volunteer Coordinator to lead our Meals on Wheels volunteer program at Midland Care. This role involves recruiting, training, and supervising volunteers to ensure the successful delivery of meals to our clients.
Employment Status: Full-Time| Monday Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Pay range beginning at $21 /hr - pay based on experience
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safe and consistent delivery of nutritious meals to clients receiving home-delivered meals.
- Develop, implement, and coordinate the Meals on Wheels volunteer plan.
- Recruit volunteers to meet the needs of the Meals on Wheels program and other organizational requirements.
- Manage the corporate and community volunteer database, including corporate liaison contacts.
- Coordinate volunteers to assemble shelf-stable meals for clients.
- Participate in meetings and provide regular input to teams.
- Communicate with internal and external customers regarding volunteer service requests, initiatives, and programs.
- Provide coverage for the Midland Volunteer Coordinator when scheduled off.
- Receive and place volunteer requests following established procedures.
- Collaborate with the Midland Volunteer Coordinator on recruitment needs.
- Perform other assigned duties and assist in various areas of the Midland organization as required.

Qualifications
Required: Two years general management experience. Need exceptional clerical and organizational skills, ability to vision and to implement vision, and knowledge of computer systems. Self-directed functioning is essential. Must possess a valid Drivers License, in force automobile liability insurance and maintain a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) that meets organizations insurability standard as defined by Midland policy. Availability of reliable transportation is required for this position.
