Oneida ESC Group has an immediate opening for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Milwaukee, WI.
Location:
- Local to Milwaukee
- Hybrid: 2 Days in the Office, 3 Days Working from Home
- Processing includes routing invoices for approval, matching up invoices to purchase orders, coding invoices to general ledger accounts, and timely processing of checks.
- Research and resolve invoice/vendor discrepancies with internal and external customers.
- Adhere to all financial policies, procedures, and deadlines.
- Ensure vendor information accuracy for payment and IRS reporting purposes.
- Assist with projects within and outside the department as assigned.
- Work closely with our procurement department and our project managers for proper coding of invoices and application to purchases.
- 2 years of Accounts Payable or general accounting experience
- High school diploma or equivalent, Associates degree in Accounting or Business desired
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel with an intermediate to advanced skill level
- Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high volume with emphasis on accuracy
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
