The Accounting Associate will be responsible for supporting the PFL Accounting department in a wide range of accounting-related duties.

Deliverables

  • Accurate and timely invoicing of customers
  • Accurate and timely recording of vendor bills and payments to vendors
  • Accurate and timely payroll
  • Professional communication internally and externally
  • Organized and thorough follow up on past due receivables
  • Positive remarkable customer, vendor and partner relationships
  • High level of attention to detail

Activities

  • Daily, weekly and monthly customer invoicing
  • Regular follow up on past due receivables
  • Work with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve issues preventing collecting payment
  • Process vendor invoices as received and issue on time payments to vendors
  • Work with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve issues preventing paying vendors
  • Payroll: enter payroll updates, prepare checks, pay payroll taxes, garnishments, and PTO
  • Maintain transparent records
  • Execute and maintain internal controls
  • Other accounting / bookkeeping duties as assigned
  • Work with external collection agency as necessary
  • Record payments received from customers
Requirements: 3-5 years of bookkeeping or similarly detail-oriented work experience.

  • General understanding of federal and state financial regulations

The rest of the stuff: Compensation is $24.00-$28.00 hour, based on experience.
