Position Overview:
The Entry-Level IT Support Administrator will be responsible for managing and resolving computer-related issues, assisting with new employee computer setups, maintaining software and licenses, and performing routine server maintenance. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about technology and eager to start a career in the IT field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day computer and technical issues for employees.
- Set up and configure computers and devices for new employees.
- Install, update, and maintain software applications across the organization.
- Manage software licenses to ensure compliance and availability.
- Perform routine server maintenance and monitoring.
- Maintain an organized inventory of IT equipment and supplies.
- Provide general technical support and guidance to team members.
- Assist in implementing IT policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers as needed.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and operating systems.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Familiarity with server maintenance and networking is a plus but not required.
