The Swing Kingdom team is looking for an experienced Inside Sales/Commercial Representative with a strong inside sales and customer service skills. The ideal candidates will have experience selling high-quality products to commercial clients and businesses. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about helping communities and businesses create safe, fun, and engaging outdoor spaces for children. The ideal candidate will build relationships, manage inquiries, provide tailored solutions, and drive sales growth within this specialized market segment.
Duties and responsibilities
- Identify and generate leads from potential commercial customers within assigned territories or verticals, such as municipalities, educational institutions, parks, resorts, and private recreational businesses.
- Engage with commercial leads through phone, email, and online meetings. Qualify leads, provide information, and guide customers through the buying process.
- Leverage deep product knowledge of playsets, safety features, and customization options to provide tailored solutions that meet client needs and budgets.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers by understanding their business needs and offering excellent post-sales support.
- Create and deliver accurate and timely quotes, ensuring all customer requirements are met in line with company offerings and pricing structures.
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals. Track progress and adjust strategies to ensure targets are consistently achieved.
- Work closely with the sales, design, and customer service teams to ensure smooth order processing, product delivery, and customer satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive products, and customer feedback to continually improve sales strategies.
- Document all activities, leads, and interactions in the CRM system for accurate sales reporting.
- Additional projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 2 years or more inside sales experience, preferably with a focus on selling commercial products (construction, outdoor equipment, or recreational products is a plus). Previous experience selling playsets or playground equipment preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to explain technical products in an easy-to-understand manner.
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to build long-lasting relationships with commercial clients.
- Ability to identify customer needs and provide creative, customized solutions.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Familiarity with the commercial sales cycle, including working with large institutions, schools, parks, and contractors is preferred.
- Familiarity with Office 365 Suite, CRM software, and sales reporting.
- Strong team collaboration skills while also being able to work independently and drive results.
Working conditions
**Please note that this is an on-site position, requiring you to work in the Leola, PA office**
Office duties will be performed in a well-lit, climate-controlled environment. Display park and plant duties will be performed both outside and in an indoor environment without air conditioning and with minimal heating.
Physical requirements
Must have adequate manual dexterity to write legibly and perform required duties on the computer. Must have adequate visual acuity to read, interpret, and transcribe written material and to perform other required duties. Requires normal range of hearing and clear speaking abilities to interact appropriately with others in person and on the telephone. Requires occasional stooping, bending, stretching, lifting to 50 pounds, and sanding for extended periods.
