Key Responsibilities:
Process development:
Designing and executing experiments to develop new ALD processes for specific applications.
Optimizing process parameters like precursor delivery, temperature, and pressure to achieve desired film properties.
Characterizing deposited films using various analytical techniques (e.g., ellipsometry).
Process optimization:
Identifying and resolving process variability issues to maintain consistent film quality.
Implementing statistical process control (SPC) to monitor process stability.
Analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes
Equipment maintenance:
Performing routine maintenance on ALD tools to ensure optimal uptime
Troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and coordinating repairs with technical support
Quality control:
Implementing quality control procedures to ensure deposited films meet specifications
Analyzing data from quality control checks and taking corrective actions when necessary
Collaboration:
Working closely with other engineers and scientists to integrate ALD processes into larger manufacturing workflows
Communicating technical findings to stakeholders and providing support to production teams
Qualification and Experience:
Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Chemical), Engineering (Material Science), Engineering Mechatronic/ Electromechanical), Engineering (Metal Fabrication/Tool & Die/Welding) or equivalent.
At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Required Skill(s):
Expertise in materials science and surface chemistry
Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes and equipment
Proficiency in data analysis and statistical methods
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Experience with cleanroom protocols and safety procedures
