Key Responsibilities:

Process development:

• Designing and executing experiments to develop new ALD processes for specific applications.
• Optimizing process parameters like precursor delivery, temperature, and pressure to achieve desired film properties.
• Characterizing deposited films using various analytical techniques (e.g., ellipsometry).

Process optimization:

• Identifying and resolving process variability issues to maintain consistent film quality.
• Implementing statistical process control (SPC) to monitor process stability.
• Analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes

Equipment maintenance:

• Performing routine maintenance on ALD tools to ensure optimal uptime
• Troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and coordinating repairs with technical support

Quality control:

• Implementing quality control procedures to ensure deposited films meet specifications
• Analyzing data from quality control checks and taking corrective actions when necessary

Collaboration:

• Working closely with other engineers and scientists to integrate ALD processes into larger manufacturing workflows
• Communicating technical findings to stakeholders and providing support to production teams

Qualification and Experience:

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Chemical), Engineering (Material Science), Engineering Mechatronic/ Electromechanical), Engineering (Metal Fabrication/Tool & Die/Welding) or equivalent.
• At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Required Skill(s):

• Expertise in materials science and surface chemistry
• Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes and equipment
• Proficiency in data analysis and statistical methods
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Experience with cleanroom protocols and safety procedures
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
